ERD Series Brakes are dual purpose brakes that can perform static holding as well as dynamic stopping functions. These brakes are designed to safely keep the load in position in the event of a power or motor failure, whether intentional or accidental. An optional manual release is and allows the operator to safely move the load even when no power is available. Torque adjustment of up to 50% of the Dynamic capability is also available (VAR02).
